Description

The 5-day training is designed to increase teacher knowledge about the science of reading and the 5 components of the reading process: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. Participants will increase knowledge and effectiveness of instruction of beginning and struggling readers, and learn how to use Pathways to Reading (PTR) assessments to inform instruction. Participants also learn how to differentiate and pace small group instruction as they provide tier 1 through tier 3 support in an MTSS/RTI model. DO NOT attempt to pay with credit card; we will bill your school appropriately.

Two graduate credits are offered through DSU at an additional charge of $100.00 payable to DSU. A link for credit registration will be supplied during the training.
